TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR YOUR GROUP CLASS
Studio Policies
Please ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing for exercise/movement-based activities, including grippy socks.
Please ensure you have informed your instructor or one of our Physios of any new/existing health/medical conditions and/or injuries you may have prior to your attendance during your class. Please discuss this during your initial Pilates 1-1 consultation, or email admin@restorephysioandpilates.co.nz prior to your class commencing.
Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your class.
If you are more than 5 minutes late, your instructor reserves the right to refuse you participating, in the interests of other clients and your safety.
Those under 18 years of age must have prior consent completed by parent/guardian prior to attending an initial consultation or group class.
Children are only permitted in class where prior consent has been sought from your instructor. Your instructor has the right to refuse children attending in the interest of other clients and safety.
Please do not use mobile phones during your class. Please ensure mobile phones are on silent for the duration of the class.
Bookings
Class bookings are essential and must be made either online via WellnessLiving or in person at the clinic/studio.
If you email or phone the clinic, please ensure you have had a response to confirm your class attendance. If you do not you run the risk of turning up to a class which is full and your attendance being denied.
Bookings can be made up to 8 weeks in advance if you have a valid class pass.
Booked classes cannot be used by anyone other than the person booked into the class.
Waitlist
If a class is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist.
If there are any cancellations you will be notified by email up to 2 hours prior to the class commencing and you must respond to confirm your class attendance.
If you are on the waitlist and you find you are no longer able to attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist – otherwise you may be preventing someone else from being able to attend class.
Our cancellation policy will be applicable for clients who are moved from the waitlist to the class list who late-cancel or do not show up to a class.
Purchases
Advance payment is required to sign up for all classes. This can be done online via WellnessLiving or in person at the clinic.
Online and Credit Card payments are subject to fees as outlined at the time of booking.
All class purchases have an expiry time period. Please ensure you are aware of the expiration of the purchase option you chose.
Class packs will activate from the date of purchase.
Class packs may be put on hold for a 4 week period once, provided notification of a minimum of 7 days prior to the expiry date.
Where the clinic is closed for a period such as Christmas, all memberships will be suspended/put on hold to resume when usual business returns.
All purchases are non-refundable.
Credit can be transferred to another person, at your request and will management approval.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be done via WellnessLiving or by phoning or emailing the clinic. If you phone or email please ensure you get a response to confirm we have received your cancellation message.
Cancellations are not accepted via text message or social media.
Cancellations within 12 hours of the scheduled class time, or failure to attend a class will result in a forfeit of the class credit.
Restore Physio & Pilates may cancel a class at any time however in this circumstance you will not lose your class credit.
Mat classes require a minimum of 3 participants, and reformer classes a minimum of 2 participants in order to go ahead. If minimum numbers are not booked into the class up to 2 hours prior to the session, Restore reserves the right to cancel the class. We will notify you via phone or email should this occur, you will not be charged and your class credit will be available for you to use for your next booking.
No show
A ‘no show’ is deemed as failure to attend without notification of cancellation. You will forfeit a session in this case.
New clients
New clients will have an initial phone or in person consultation with one of our Physiotherapists or instructors.
It is important you advise us of any medical conditions or injuries you may have. If you have undiagnosed conditions we advise you see either a medical professional such as your GP or one of our Physiotherapists prior to attending class.
